Networking Morning

Our next morning for networking, chat, fellowship, and perhaps a bit of planning, is 26th April ’06. All in church leadership are welcome. It will take place at Central Methodist from 9:30 am (if you have not already been in the prayer meeting from 7:45 am) and will conclude about 11:30 with coffee and doughnuts.

This time there will be a presentation of ideas for mission together in 2007, and a guest speaker.

Our guest speaker is Alistair Cole, an Elim Pentecostal minster who is active in many of the national prayer networks and has been invited to bring us up to date with some of the exciting prayer initiatives currently taking place, and in the planning across the nation.

Alistair’s visit is particularly relevant to us, firstly as we are aware of the particular way God gathered us together in 1999 to begin our current prayer ministry, and secondly as we plan our Global Day of Prayer events, with the 24/10 and the concluding prayer gathering in the Minster on the evening of Sunday 4 June ’06 (more info to follow).

In addition to Alistair’s teaching role, which involves not only Elim events but prayer events and conferences within the wider prayer movement, he attends national and regional prayer conferences, thus enabling him to network with prayer leaders from the U.K. and abroad. Alistair works with ministries such as the Evangelical Alliance, and the World Prayer Centre, Birmingham.

Much blessing to all of you
